The Archos Retail System (ARS) is a barcoding system fit for convenience stores, supermarkets, groceries and specialty stores. This System is composed of two modules, the ARCHOS Point-of-Sale Retail System and the ARCHOS Back-Office System.
The ARCHOS Point-of-Sale Retail System can work as cashiering or an ordering terminal.Two options are available for receipt printing: on-the-ply or delayed printing. Sales functions such as discounts, void, etc… are uniquely defined to specific keyboard keys whether for programmable or standard pc keyboard.
The ARCHOS Back-Office System is its server application in a network setup.
